Ecuador emerges as the world's largest banana exporter with 7.5 million tonnes projected for 2025, up from 6.5 million in 2018. Guatemala produces 4.4 million tonnes, while Brazil reaches 6.8 million tonnes primarily for domestic consumption. Costa Rica maintains 2.5 million tonnes, and Colombia produces 2.5 million tonnes.
