The table lists 191 countries; 189 reported a 2024 quantity, and the 2024 annual listed total is 69,576,315 tonnes. The 2024 country list runs from the largest listed quantity to the smallest.

In 2024, the United States was the largest producer of fresh or chilled bone-in cattle meat among the listed reporters, with 12,289,768 tonnes. Brazil ranked second with 10,237,584 tonnes, followed by China with 7,011,810 tonnes. The United States and Brazil together accounted for 32.4 percent of the 69,576,315-tonne listed total, while the top three accounted for 42.5 percent.

The United States produced 1.20 times as much as Brazil: 12,289,768 tonnes against 10,237,584, while China ranks third with 7,011,810 tonnes, 3,225,774 tonnes behind Brazil. The top two hold 32.4 percent of the listed total, with third and fourth at 7,011,810 and 3,178,044 tonnes respectively.

Yearly totals sum FAO Crops and Livestock Products production quantity (Element 5510) for item Meat of cattle with the bone; fresh or chilled, 2020-2024. For bone-in cattle meat production, quantities below 1,000 tonnes retain two decimals and larger quantities are shown as whole tonnes. The 2024 bone-in cattle meat production ranking and shares use 2024 listed quantities. In the bone-in cattle meat production data, zero means a reported nil or negligible flow; an empty cell means no quantity was reported. For bone-in cattle meat production changes, only countries with quantities in both endpoint years enter the arithmetic. Production quantities are reported to FAO by national statistical sources.
