Methodology
Percentage changes use the corresponding value in the earlier year as the base. Yearly totals sum FAO Crops and Livestock Products stocks quantity (Element 5112) for item Rabbits and hares, 2020-2024. For rabbits and hares stocks, quantities are shown as whole head. The 2024 rabbits and hares stocks ranking and shares use 2024 listed quantities. In the rabbits and hares stocks data, zero means a reported nil or negligible stock; an empty cell means no quantity was reported. For rabbits and hares stocks changes, only countries with quantities in both endpoint years enter the arithmetic. Stocks refer to the number of rabbits and hares recorded as present, rather than animals produced during the year.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the new reporter since 2020?
Benin reported 15,000,000 head in 2024 and nothing in 2020. Blank cells mean not reported rather than zero, so Benin sits outside the 2020-2024 change universe while entering third in the 2024 ranking.
Which 2020 reporters are gone by 2024?
Three, led by Hungary with 1,210,000 head, Greece with 550,000 head and Romania with 254,000 head. Blank cells mean not reported rather than zero, so the trio sits outside the 2020-2024 change universe while shaping the 2020 listed total.
How did Egypt move in both windows?
Egypt fell 567,000 head (down 10.1 percent) in 2024 and 1,921,000 head (down 27.6 percent) since 2020. Egypt reports in all three endpoint years, so both falls sit inside their change universes.
