Residual fuel oil consumption by country measures residual fuel oil product supplied for each country, in million metric tons (Mmt) per year. Residual fuel oil is a heavy fuel used in shipping, power generation and industry. The statistics are based on the U.S. Energy Information Administration's (EIA) International Energy Statistics. The table covers 185 countries, with 184 reported 2024 values, and includes data from 2019 to 2024. The world total stood at 349.4 Mmt in 2024, down from 364.3 Mmt in 2023.

Reported 2024 leaders: Singapore (49.062 Mmt), China (44.096 Mmt), Saudi Arabia (35.253 Mmt), United Arab Emirates (19.686 Mmt), Iraq (16.063 Mmt). Empty means no reported value, not zero.
