Percentage changes use the corresponding value in the earlier year as the base. Yearly totals sum FAO Crops and Livestock Products production quantity (Element 5510) for item Raw milk of sheep, 2020-2024. For raw sheep milk production, quantities below 1,000 tonnes retain two decimals and larger quantities are shown as whole tonnes. The 2024 raw sheep milk production ranking and shares use 2024 listed quantities. In the raw sheep milk production data, zero means a reported nil or negligible flow; an empty cell means no quantity was reported. For raw sheep milk production changes, only countries with quantities in both endpoint years enter the arithmetic. Production quantities are reported to FAO by national statistical sources.

Frequently Asked Questions
How did Armenia halve since 2020?
Armenia fell from 45,000 tonnes in 2020 to 22,500 tonnes in 2024, a change of -22,500 tonnes (down 50.0 percent). Armenia reports in both years, so the halving sits inside the change universe.
What are Ireland and Czech Republic doing at the edges?
Ireland reported zero in 2023 with no 2024 quantity, while Czech Republic added 100 tonnes as the 2024 entrant. Zero means a reported nil flow rather than a gap for Ireland.
Which 2020 reporters are gone by 2024?
Four, led by Palestine with 53,203 tonnes, Germany with 6,700 tonnes and Ireland with a reported zero. Blank cells mean not reported rather than zero for Palestine and Germany, while the zero means a reported nil flow; the group sits outside the 2020-2024 change universe.
