Flour of Fruits Consumption by Country

Fruit flour has barely a leader: Angola held 41,550 tonnes in 2023, 1.07 times the Philippines. Indonesia followed in third, while Angola also led per person. The 2023 figures total 299,450 tonnes across 166 countries, 163 with values, covering food available for human consumption from FAO Supply Utilization Accounts for 2019-2023.

Quick Answer: Angola had the highest fruit flour food supply in 2023 at 41,550 tonnes, followed by the Philippines at 38,853 tonnes and Indonesia at 33,459 tonnes. Angola also ranked first on the per-person measure at 3.10 grams per person per day. Across the 163 countries with reported 2023 values, the listed total was 299,450 tonnes.

Türkiye placed fourth at 21,707 tonnes, with India fifth at 19,476 and Malaysia sixth at 15,577. The United States, the United Kingdom, France and Spain closed the top ten between 9,436 and 11,097 tonnes. Spain Posts the Biggest Latest-Year Gain

Spain added 4,111 tonnes between 2022 and 2023, up 77.2 percent to 9,436 tonnes. Rwanda added 3,853 tonnes from a zero base. The United Kingdom added 2,939 tonnes, up 39.1 percent. Angola added 2,360 tonnes, up 6.0 percent. Israel lost 3,413 tonnes, down 36.5 percent. DR Congo lost 2,782 tonnes, down 96.9 percent. The Netherlands shed 2,737 tonnes, down 34.1 percent. Türkiye gave up 2,589 tonnes, down 10.7 percent. The 163 countries present in both years rose from 293,039 tonnes to 299,450 tonnes, up 6,411 tonnes, or 2.2 percent, with one departure holding 3 tonnes and no arrivals.

Malaysia Records the Largest Five-Year Gain

Between 2019 and 2023, the 160 countries present in both years grew from 248,394 tonnes to 299,440 tonnes, up 51,046 tonnes, or 20.6 percent. Malaysia added 12,652 tonnes, up 432.5 percent, accounting for 24.8 percent of the net gain. Türkiye added 8,764 tonnes, up 67.7 percent. Angola added 7,280 tonnes, up 21.2 percent. Israel added 5,109 tonnes from a small base. Rwanda added 3,853 tonnes from a zero base. Indonesia added 3,703 tonnes, up 12.4 percent. Spain lost 3,889 tonnes, down 29.2 percent. The United States shed 3,710 tonnes, down 25.1 percent. Three countries left with 7 tonnes, against three arrivals with 11.

Angola Leads Both Flour of Fruits Measures

Angola's 3.10 grams a day beat New Zealand's 2.01 in second and Israel's 1.76 in third. Malaysia sat fourth at 1.21 grams, with Seychelles at 1.16 and Trinidad and Tobago at 0.97. The Philippines, Hong Kong, Moldova and the Netherlands followed below one gram. Angola pairs the biggest tonnage with the top daily figure.

What the Flour of Fruits Data Covers

Fruit flour for human consumption is milled here in tonnes and daily grams per person for each reporting country over 2019-2023. Annual totals sum reporting countries only. The leader holds under 14 percent of supply, so the top of the table is unusually flat. Large percentage changes can result from small starting values, so percentage growth should be read alongside the underlying tonnage.

Rwanda's arrival comes from a zero base with no percentage stated, an arrival that skips the queue. Israel's 620.2 percent five-year rate starts near 824 tonnes and means scaling. DR Congo's 96.9 percent latest fall ends at 89 tonnes, a trace that keeps reporting. Ireland fell to a reported zero in 2023 from 297.03 tonnes in 2022, and Italy from 146.93 tonnes.

Methodology

FAO Supply Utilization Accounts register tonnage for human consumption as element 5141 and daily grams per person as element 665, shown for fruit flour across 2019-2023. Percentages reference the earlier year, and zero bases receive no percentage. The universe comprises 166 countries after aggregates are taken out, 163 with 2023 values. Only countries with values at both endpoints qualify for comparisons. The 2023 listed total is the sum of every country with a 2023 value. Reported zeros stay, blanks go missing, and under-1,000 values keep two decimals.
