Liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) consumption by country measures LPG product supplied for each country, in million metric tons (Mmt) per year. LPG consists primarily of propane, normal butane and isobutane, which can be liquefied under pressure for storage and transport. LPG is widely used for cooking, heating, transport and petrochemical applications. The statistics are based on the U.S. Energy Information Administration's (EIA) International Energy Statistics. The table covers 197 countries, with 196 reported 2024 values, and includes data from 2019 to 2024. The world total stood at 304.2 Mmt in 2024, up from 291.8 Mmt in 2023.

China recorded the largest reported increase, rising from 74.018 to 78.684 Mmt (+4.666 Mmt). India rose from 29.050 to 31.102 Mmt (+2.052 Mmt). The sharpest reported decline was Japan, falling from 12.019 to 11.556 Mmt (-0.463 Mmt). The world total rose from 291.8 to 304.2 Mmt. No cause is stated in the source for these movements.
