The statistics are based on the U.S. Energy Information Administration's (EIA) International Energy Statistics. Values refer to nuclear electricity generation, in quadrillion British thermal units (quad Btu) per year as in the source, and 2024 figures are from the INTL.27-12 series where listed. Where no value is available, the cell is left empty. A value of 0 indicates that the source reports zero generation. The sum of the 33 individually listed countries is 14.8296 quad Btu, which rounds to the reported World total of 14.83 quad Btu. This page covers nuclear generation only and does not include other generation sources, consumption, capacity or reserves, which are reported separately in the source.
