Saint Vincent Tops Other Stimulant, Spice and Aromatic Crops, n.e.c. per Person

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' 16.85 grams a day edged Yemen's 15.46, with Bhutan third at 9.60 and Türkiye fourth at 7.36. Tonga sat fifth at 6.36 grams, with Seychelles at 5.88 and Botswana at 5.83. The Bahamas, Eswatini and Ethiopia followed below 5.8 grams. India, first by volume, missed the per-person top ten.

Methodology

FAO Supply Utilization Accounts record tonnage for human consumption under element 5141 and daily grams per person under element 665, shown for other stimulant crops across 2019-2023. Percentages take the earlier year as the base, and zero bases take no percentage. The universe counts 165 countries after aggregates are dropped, all but one with 2023 values. Only countries holding values at both endpoints enter comparisons. The 2023 listed total is the sum of every country with a 2023 value. A reported zero is kept, a blank is missing, and under-1,000 values keep two decimals.
