China produced 4.12 times as much as India: 601,279,784 tonnes against 146,001,633, while Türkiye ranks third with 28,895,553 tonnes, 117,106,080 tonnes behind India. The top two hold 63.2 percent of the listed total, with third and fourth at 28,895,553 and 28,382,076 tonnes respectively.

China was the largest primary vegetables producer in the 2024 listed data with 601,279,784 tonnes, followed by India with 146,001,633 tonnes and Türkiye with 28,895,553 tonnes. The United States ranked fourth with 28,382,076 tonnes.
