Andorra is Europe's highest capital at 1,023 meters altitude and has no airport or train station. The country has tax-free shopping attracting over 10 million visitors annually. Andorran life expectancy is among world's highest at 83 years.
The nation has two co-princes: President of France and Bishop of Urgell from Spain. Andorra uses the Euro but isn't in the EU. The country has excellent ski resorts with over 300 km of slopes.
Andorra has no military and relies on France and Spain for defense. The official language is Catalan, with Spanish and French widely spoken. The country has 468 square kilometers making it Europe's 6th smallest nation.
The economy relies on tourism, banking, and duty-free retail. Andorra has medieval charm with Romanesque churches and mountain villages. The nation has excellent healthcare and education systems.
Traditional Andorran culture includes sardana dancing and mountain festivals. The population is approximately 80,000 with diverse international residents. Andorra offers world-class skiing, hiking, and stunning Pyrenees mountain scenery.
