Traditional Romanian culture includes folk dancing, crafts, and rural festivals. The country has Orthodox Christian majority with beautiful religious art. Romanian cuisine features mici, sarmale, and hearty peasant dishes.

The population is 19 million with Romanian as official language. Romania offers mountain adventure, castle tourism, and authentic Eastern European culture in historic nation.
